My Volt is heading into the shop for the third time this month, the first time I received my check engine light was on the 9th, Fault P0AC4-P0CD2-P1AF0-P1AF2-P1E22-B2AAA, I got the car into the dealer on the 10th, however the light had cleared on it's own the morning I took it in. The dealer performed the inverter firmware update recall on it, and sent me on my way.
On my way to work that night the CEL came back on, same fault codes as last time. The dealer couldn't get me in till the 12th, and I was told it would have to stay to have the High Voltage system shut down and fault isolated. I was given a Cruze as a loaner, but I gave it back and took a Spark instead because the steering was mucked up and I hate the transmission in that car.
On the 16th I was called and told my A/C compressor was the cause of the problem, and they had ordered one. I could expect my car back the evening of the 17th. The 17th came around and just as they were closing they called me and said they didn't get the part in, I could expect my car to be done by the 18th. On the 18th they called and said they got the part in at 2pm, they would install it the next day and I could have my car back first thing the 19th. I finally got my Volt back the afternoon of the 19th.
I drove a whole 500 miles before the CEL came back on the 24th, a whole lot more codes this time. P0AC4-P1E22-P1AF0-P1AF2-P1AF4-P1AF6-P1E1C-B2AAA. Called the dealer on the 26th and they said they would try to fit me in on the 30th. Third round in the ring, wonder if they will fix it this time around.
