ZENN motors announced a highway capable car which can go 80mph, 250 miles per charge and can be recharged in as little as 5 minutes (presumably using special equipment). It is called the citiZENN. The new ultracapacitor energy storage technology comes from EEStor. If the claims they make about the ultracapacitor are true, it would be a game-changing energy alternative for cars and other uses, and would likely spur pure electric vehicles rather than hybrids or extended range hybrids.:D

0-25 in ??

0-20mph in 5.7 seconds?
0-25mpg in 9.2 seconds??

No other speeds listed, so it looks like it has a maximum speed of 25mph.

Range: Approximately 30-50 miles (quite a range in range)

Not quite ready for prime time.

Of course, the capacitors mentioned by the original poster will go into their freeway-legal model, but I'll have to search the website for that information; haven't found it yet.

Thats the currently available Zenn...a NEV.
On the main page theres a link in the middle bottom for the City Zenn being referred to...not that it says much.
