"Company officials on Nov. 29 unveiled plans for a dedicated factory in Casa Grande, Arizona, that will eventually employ 2000 people. Parts and components to come from suppliers nearby in Mexico’s state of Sonora. "

“It’s the size of an Audi A6, it’s as cool as an A7, has the interior space of an Audi A8 longwheel-base, and the performance of a Bugatti Veyron. No one’s done that.”

Not even Lucid, at least not yet.

I can imagine the salesperson concluding: "You will almost buy an electric Audi!".

Then the customer will turn away and reply: "You have almost sold me one!".

Lucid is not exactly new. It started up in 2008.

We started imagining a vehicle that takes full advantage of electrification without boundaries.
Pretty big talk there. Everything has boundaries.

Ultimately, we perfected our core battery system technology and accumulated over 50 patents in the US alone.
Really hope those patents don't stifle others' developments. I can probably say that about GM too.

Many of those original vehicles are still running on the roads without a single safety incident.
Not sure how to take that one. There were safety incidents, or......?

Yawn. Another concept car that beats Tesla, someday. maybe, depending on getting funding, being able to execute, etc.
