http://gm-volt.com/forum/showthread.php?152681-Washer-fluid-level-warningI was in a road trip driving through slush using tons of washer fluid. I then ran out. I just assumed wth all the other warnings that my 2014 would let me know when the washer fluid was low. Does it?
Interesting. I've never seen a low solvent warning on any of my vehicles. I keep them topped off year round.I was in a road trip driving through slush using tons of washer fluid. I then ran out. Neat idea - sometimes the simplest ones are the best.Nope, no washer fluid level warning from '13 to '15. My Leaf didn't have one either, but it did have a clever clear hose attached to the reservoir lid with a tiny hole in the top of the lid. Checking procedure was to put your finger over the little hole and remove the lid and pulling the attached tube out with it. Level of fluid is equal to amount of fluid in the tube. So, I did this to my Volt, but with a loose tube. See pic.
