What happened to WOT ?. Is there anyway to know for sure that he is ok ?. Steverino perhaps you have some special contact with him?. We wish him well, the best, always helping the people in this Forum.

WopOnTour's last post was August 10, announcing he was back after a month vacation. Sadly, none of the mods or admin involved with gm-volt knows what's behind his nearly two month absence since that post. We have not heard from WOT one way or the other.
At this point all I can hope is he's enjoying another extended vacation. His absence is definitely felt. As a GM employee, his insight and knowledge of the Volt is unsurpassed.
He has "gone dark" for extended periods in the past sometimes for a month or so at a time. I know he's back when I see him posting answers to someone's questions. I have sent email's to several addresses, but so far no response.
His last tweet was Oct 19, 2016. So that does not seem to be an active account. https://twitter.com/wopontour

That would be a bummer, he was our main troubleshooter and supplier of WOT sensors. Are people still making and receiving orders for them?
There are a couple of other people making WOT sensor equivalents, go to the original thread and look at the last few pages.
If brand T is not Toyota, then he is locke down by hardcore NDA's I'm sure.
I don't buy this - not that he couldn't take the job, but that he'd just stop posting if that were the case. I'm sure he would have explained in some fashion and degree even if there's an NDA and transferred his role on the forums to someone else.

Along with his career at GM and his obvious devotion to all things electric car, he was also big-time into snowmobiling (link) and analog audio (link). His participation in those interests dropped off in the middle of last year.
Near as I can tell the last online activity was on Facebook on September 12 to the Electric Vehicle Assn. of Alberta (EVAA) page.

As Steverino noted, we haven't heard from WOT since his return from vacation. I've sent him a Facebook message though too and if there's anything he wants me to report (if he responds) I'll be happy to do so.
could one of you Mods please remove the ordering info from the initial post so that many people dont accidentally get on a list for delivery that may never happen? If he makes a triumphant return then add back in the info where people send money to get in line?

I gotta agree with Jester84 (Top Gun reference by chance?).
WOT is an absolute legend around here, but the mods have a duty to keep our hapless population of unsuspecting users from entering into transactions that we know are no longer being fulfilled. Pull the link for now and repost it once we have some idea that a WOT order will actually ship.

Good suggestion, I've added a note to the top of that thread to state his current absence and recommending another solution for the time being.
