Long story short: Dealer forgot to put a couple bolts and a clip back on the PIM. I have the parts and would rather put them back myself to avoid the trip.

Is the PIM easy to access and if so, where is it?

The dealer knows about the issue and said I could bring it back anytime, but I'm used to working on my cars and can replace a few bolts.

In gen2, it's part of the transmission, it should be where the HV (orange) cable from the battery connects. I don't have a gen2 so I don't know if this is easy to access, though. In my gen1 it's a separate box and is easy.
