I'm kicking around the idea of buying a new Volt but there are very few to choose from around here. According to the Chevrolet Web Site, in the whole KC metro area, there are only SEVEN and in St. Louis, there are only TEN. That's like one at each dealer.

What the heck. Is Chevrolet quietly phasing them out?

Come to Denver. This year alone I've seen more Volts than that on the roads. Denver also seems to be big on Leafs, Teslas, including Model 3s, Bolts, i3s, and even some SmartEVs as well.

If they're not big sellers in your area, dealers will stock only one or two at most because they sell slow, salespeople don't push them, and they believe no one wants them. Heck, they are not uncommon in my area and I still had to drive a couple hours to get the color/config I wanted.
