Hello EV users or future EV users!
Helectra is a project under development that treats recycling, reutilisation and second life issues of EV battery packs. Would you contribute by answering 10 hot questions as an EV user or a future EV user?

When my traction battery is worn out I will use my handy dandy matter transporter to instantaneously transport to anywhere in the solar system.
After all it will be the year 2534 .
I have a my2012 with 41,000 miles on the battery and have lost 2" of range so subtract 2" from 35 miles over 5 years and you come out to 517 years !

Points that will need clarifying or additional options needed

3. What is a "function car"?

4. Needs options for "Keep driving car as is" -- Plug-in hybrids should be able to manage that even with an old battery.

Overall, I'm not likely to replace with a battery pack that offers REDUCED capacity in any way, since the predictable failure of battery packs is to slowly lower in capacity anyway. We as Volt owners know that a Gen 1 replacement battery pack costs about $3500 from GM's stock of parts and we know that those will exist as available parts for at least another eight years (10 years from 2015 model year). So you'll have plenty of time to figure out how to meet the original capacity specification.

Maybe a typo, maybe a bot. I want to know why there are 2 "will"s in the subject line. That and the bad grammar overall don't give me a good feeling about this clickbait errrr poll that a proper link wasn't even provided.

Funny.
3. I said, " I own my car. Is that the question?"
And then I answered many with "Maybe".

Correct, Li-ions just lose capacity slowly and rarely die a sudden complete death, but that does happen sometimes with individual cells within a pack.

It's fairly obvious to me that the OP is not a native English speaker. Being from Brussels and the less than perfect language is a pretty good indicator. Around here everyone speaks ESL. I give him or her the benefit of the doubt.
