What is the best place to track your order online ?
You can try this website.
http://www.gmconnects.com/

If you do please tell us how it works out for you.
It's handled by a GM supplier that's being provided GM production data.
That service became very popular when the new Camaro launched back in 2009 then later in 2010-11 with the Gen1 Volt when the "tracking" fervor around here was CRAZY! lol

Yeah, we had a discussion about the GMConnects website about a week ago in the "2017 Volt Waiting Room" thread. Nice looking front page but leads to nothing but potential spam/malware webpage after entering your info. That site never worked for forum members with pending deliveries last year and apparently still doesn't work.

@immtx - read the posts following this thread to get what you need. But in summary, get your order number (i.e. SPRK17) from the dealer then sign up for weekly updates at Chevy Chat from the Chevy webpage which will give you some general info up until it ships then you can track with another link. The clunky process is covered in the link below and the next 10 posts or so. Good luck.

Well they guy who runs that site is a member here "Chevyconnects" and at one point owned a Volt.
I will PM him maybe we can get some answers about their site

In the meantime here is the original Gen1 tracking thread from 2010 that has a lot of tips and tricks (including using a phone service to track rail cars etc)
