So, there has been much discussion about what it will look like, how much it will cost and when it will come.

What colour do you want your Volt to be?

BLUE! A nice medium blue metalic. Not a midnight blue or some washed out light blue.

Yep. That's odd. Good news is, that color comes on lots of GM cars and trucks and most Chevys, so there is a good chance they may offer it on the Volt. However, given that the Volt probably will be going for an upscale "tech" look my guess is that most of the colors offered will be mettalic and Victory Red is not mettalic. So it's possible that you may have to learn to love a mettalic red as it will most certainly be offered in red. Or not.

For me, I want a burnt orange mettalic. If they deny me this again (I wanted this for my Solstice), I'll pick whatever other bright color they offer.

what happen to two color tone. If it had to be one color. I really don't know. I had a white, black, dark blue, yellow. I was not crazy about the color I had. I guess I got use to not being picky about color on the car.

The color of the Volt on the internet looks silver/blue. Great color, not sure if it is silver with reflection of blue but it looks great and if it comes in that color I would love it.

My favorite color - Black! Although I wouldn't mind a 2 tone color either - black over silver or silver over black.

It's nice to see some healthy response to this poll and hopefully GM will put out some nice, eye catching colours.

I hope they offer all the options in metallic and I hope they put a good amount of paint and clearcoat on the surface. My current GM vehicle has really thin paint and after a year of ownership it was really beat up from stone and other chips. A few more base coats would really help the paint surface hold up against chips.

I hope they offer the EV1 Silverblue.
It'll make me feel like they gave me my car back.
And I hope the Volt is made with composites like the EV1.
I liked that you couldn't dent or scratch the EV1.
And No lease please!

I don't think they plan on using composites. They want to keep costs down, so they are using traditional sheet metal.

Ironic. GM closes its in house all domestic design and built true 30/40 mpg car, the S-series, then closes the Ion just in time for $4+ gallon gasoline. Maybe the green color survives.
