So It’s only been a week since I have owned this car and i notice yesterday this weird sound coming from what i think is the steering wheel.

It kind of sounds like a loose piece of plastic

Anyone ever have this?

Hard to tell if it's a similar sound but I posted this a while back:

Turns out it's the HVAC system adjusting the baffle door.

Edit: I should have mentioned, the Volt is like an alien spaceship. It makes all sorts of funky sounds. Unless it sounds like something rattling around or loose, I've learned to just ignore the strange sounds it makes from time to time. It's just doing its thing in most cases.

I've had a rattle sound in my 2017. I brought it to the dealer and they stated some plastic were broke. As you know this car scrapes everything in most all driveways. It's most likely what you're hearing. Bring it in
