Weird Noise during Paddle Regen

I just noticed this recently, I haven't noticed it in the past 18 months or so. There's that weird noise if I pull on the paddle to slow the down the car over long distance, the same noise when friction brakes are engaged.

Stop using the regen paddle... you'll probably get better overall EV range by minimizing regen.

How do you know the when friction brakes are engaged? Except for emergency stops, the friction brakes don't engage unless you are at the very tail end of your stop - no matter whether you are pulling the regen paddle, decelerating in L, or pressing on the brake pedal.

Can you describe the noise?

Except a front wheel bearing will also make noise as you are accelerating. I've had my passenger side front wheel bearing replaced because of this noise. It sounded more like a low growl that went up and down in tone depending on speed.
