Warning, cheater "Abci"

Please be careful with this user!
I posted on the forum that I am looking for parts for my car and I hoped that the users of this forum are honest people, but it turned out that they are not.
He contacted me in a PW message and gave me an e-mail ([email protected] .com) to write, I wrote, we agreed on the amount I sent Paypal (unfortunately a transfer for the family) and now he doesn't answer.
Please let me know if I can report such a scam somewhere in the USA to try to get my money back, maybe the police, tax office?

He used Paypal emails: [email protected], [email protected] - Johnson Lajoyce

Does anyone have an idea where to report the issue ?

You can try PayPal, but unfortunately these scams happen. Buyers and sellers need to be cautious.

Posting that you're looking for something anywhere on the internet is fraught with danger, unfortunately. I wish you luck in getting your money back, and for the future "for the family" is for the family. PayPal takes their cut for a reason.

You can report it to PayPal. What comes from that is up to them.

I reported it but they wrote back to report it to the police.
Is there an internet crime department in your area to report this to ?

In what area? Who knows where they are physically based? Try your local police. But, police won't bother investigating this. You are sadly out of luck on getting the money back. :(

The paypal service wrote back that it has the data of the user to whom the money was transferred and can share the data with the police, I just thought it would be best to report it to the US police
