Back when I had my LEAF, there was an app called LEAF Spy that would give detailed information on things like cell voltage, state of charge, battery health, and other EV-specific data- obtained by the CAN-bus (via OBD2). Has anyone developed a similar app for Volt? Torque Pro looks like my only option.

mygreenvolt is also a great app which is currently on Android and Blackberry. The developer is also currently working on a version for apple devices.

My ODB2/CAN-BUS reader can read all those parameters. It needs a full PC setup, or a usb cable to an android phone. It's not wireless.

Some volts are also very picky about having the OBD port in use all the time while driving.

Engine Link and bluetooth 4 adaptor

I've been happy with Engine Link, and their bluetooth 4 OBD adaptor. http://www.ksolution.org/outdoor/enginelink.html

It works on iPhone, accepts PID like Torque, and I've never noticed an issue with the old adaptor being kept plugged all the time
