One of these will probably be my next daily driver to replace my Volt, whenever that day comes. HAHA

My Volt has a 16.0 kWh battery. I get to use just under 10 of that. Why do think it's a misprint, and in which direction? Do you think they stated physical capacity or usable?

That's less than 4.5 miles per kwh, if the "13" is usable. That's optimistic but hardly impossible.

but I'm amazed people have been getting over 40 miles of range!

I'm sure at least some of it is variation in driving conditions. In nice weather, it's easy for me to roll up 40 miles on a charge with light traffic and 35 MPH speed limits, but put it on the highway at 70 and low 30s is all it'll clock before the engine starts. You never know what someone else is actually doing to get those ranges.
