I had a dream that Chevy offered to convert my Volt lease (1yr left on a 2016) into a Bolt lease without increasing my payments. In this dream, it made sense because the Bolt was selling poorly and the Volt is coming to end of life, and people aren't ready for all electric, so there's a market for used Volts now.

Am I dreaming?
Anyone talk to their Chevy dealer about early trade-ins for the Bolt?

Maybe when the Bolt is available in more States this situation will occur with more frequency and we'll hear about it.

My dream is the Bolt being able to fully charge in 5-10 minutes. You wouldn't be able to make them fast enough people would want them so badly.

Dealers are always looking to get low mileage cars and put you in a new lease. If you're interested, just ask and see what they can do for you.

Easiest thing in the world to do with most dealers. Just have to be willing to cough up the $ down early for lease # 2 which retrospectively raised your cost significantly on lease #1. I fell for that very temptation myself going from the gen1 to the gen 2 volt 6 months early.
