Ya about a 1000 who do and a selec few who do not.
Because of these select few Rick bashers, I wasted many hours talking in person, by phone, by email to numerous So. California Chevy dealers. It's a jungle out there: I was bounced around between internet sales men, finance guys, floor sales guys, I was quoted with straight face $995 in bank acquisition fees, $325 "wear care" bank fees, MSRP as sales price, $600+ monthly payment on a base model lease etc. On at least 3 occasions, sales people tried to make me fill out and sign credit check applications before even disclosing their price. These dealers and these people deserve as lawjds put it "at best neutral rating", because that's how most car dealers work and we, as consumers, tend to expect this kind of treatment if our objective is to get a fair price on a very expensive purchase.

Keyes way of selling Volts is different and unique(at least in So. Calif). Rick is the only GM I am aware of who interacts with us, customers, directly. Whose price quoting is transparent, complete and could only be matched by others at best.

A few days ago, I texted Rick and received reply 1min! later. The answer to my question was unfortunately "no". Not satisfied, I emailed the same question to Sophia Velasquez of Rydell who just posted big sales ad on this message board. It took two days for her to reply. And the reply, which was very polite, two paragraphs long and contained such words as "honest", "accurate", "leasing specialist"....didn't answer my question at all and basically just attempted to phish my phone number! I am no godfather, but it does insult my intelligence! Bonaire, from your posts, it seems you are a happy Rydell customer and you encourage others to deal with them. Please stop wasting your energy and our time trying to figure out how many aliases Rick is using on this forum. Please talk to Rydell and tell them that I, just a month ago, had no bias between Keyes, Rydell or other 2 dozen chevy dealers, but will soon be driving my new volt in San Fernando Valley with Keyes plates. And all because Keyes not only is offering best price, but it offers single person of contact for forum members who treats his customers with dignity and has earned the rating from me of "unbelievably and unexpectedly good"!

I'm a member of the Keyes fan club too, becasue I'm also a fan of a good deal. Rick was great to work with. Best car delivery experience I ever had.

The Keyes deals are real and compelling, and they help get more Volts on the road. When you look at the bad comments they're always from people who didn't actually get a car from Keyes. Us happy customers all got our cars there and got great deals.

Couldn't agree with you more! Add me to the club, but you guys already know that!

Rick is the best I have EVER dealt with in all my years buying cars. I have never had an easier experience and Rick got me the lowest lease payment I have EVER had in my life!

Sorry to any Keyes naysayers, but I must also report that my dealings with Keyes has been excellent so far and the deal was just as reported here. We went in armed with emails and quotes from this forum and the price we were quoted matched what were came in with. Had one minor issue with an add on alarm package. We realized we did not need the aftermarket package we were sold after reading the owners manual found online and found the Volts factory alarm system will be enough for us where we live. After pointing this out to Keyes, they quickly agreed to rewrite the contract and remove it since we have not taken delivery yet. I think being a forum member helped with this (plus we had not taken delivery) and part of the problem was caused by ourselves not knowing that the Volt already came with a pretty good alarm system in advance.

Now we are just waiting for it to get to the lot, hopefully with the wave of cars they are getting this week!

Wait you sold a 1000 volts when you said 250 in a earlier post......which is it?
No you are correct just about 250 Volts, but about 1100 other owners last year. I help for all makes and models. I have been a GM for 25 plus years and we have most franchises within our dealer group and work endless hours to try and help peoples wishes come true. I know it is hard for you to believe but that is what i do. Yes there are times I am not perfect. There are also times people offer up incorrect information about even dealing with me.
I have over 100 good reviews on this Forum. I give my cell number out 818-231-1286 because I want to be able to best communicate with my prospects and clients.

Rick, you don't have to sell me on it I would give you a shout and a opportunity to earn my business if I was on the West Coast.
