I was not able to hear the ringing of my iPhone7 through the car stereo (connected through bluetooth). The car told me that someone was calling, but all I noticed was the phone buzzing. I then called myself and while the phone was ringing, adjusted the car volume to max. That made the ringing (barely) audible. How can I adjust that to a reasonable level?

Turn up the volume on the iPhone while it's ringing. Make sure the display says "Ringer" and not "Volume" when you turn it up.
