And this is the real nub, isn't it?

Is there any way that we the owners can take the (non-GM-affiliated) offensive to promote the Volt? Perhaps we could come up with our own viral ads. What do you guys think?

Those here who are good at

–Video
–Editing
–Copy
–Presentation
–PowerPoint (or other slide generating tool)

… could take stabs at viral ads, we could vote on them, and then make a YouTube channel. Perhaps several could cooperate on one ad. They could make contact with each other via private messaging, or here.

I'd suggest that all content be original (no GM-sourced pics, charts, etc) to prevent any legal protest.

Jackson, would you be looking for more of an informational video?

I don't see how we can avoid some informational content. People know next to nothing about the Volt, or even that it exists. Making a spot viral is the difficult part. Maybe one really good viral (cute / funny) ad could redirect with a click to a channel or site with the slightly more boring spots.
