Is there anyway to figure out when the dealer took delivery of a volt/how long a volt has been sitting on the dealers lot. I haven't noticed a dealer delivery date on my paperwork but maybe it's printed small and i'm missing it

my 2015 volt has a build date of 7/14 listed on the door jam. I didn't think they got them in until september/october but i guess my dealer got an earlier shipment. Only 3 miles were on it so hopefully it didn't damage the 12v battery sitting on the lot all that time going nowhere.

Did all 2015 models get the 17.1 kwh battery pack or only later models like with the 2012 model year? Is there anywhere to check whether my battery is the 17.1 kwh one or the 16.5 one.

Well if your car was built in July it likely didn't reach the dealer untill September - October in California. The Volt is shipped in a standby mode that ensures that there is no drain on the 12V battery.

All 2015's should have the 17.1KWh battery. There might be some late 2014's that had the 17.1KWh battery as well.
