VerticalScope: Static websites are best :-)

Hey everyone just trying to spot any potential good deals on Volts in Michigan to lease at prices under $250 a month. I hate that we can't go to other states to pick up a lease and bring it back or I would be driving to go get one for cheaper.

A few deals I'm seeing is around $300 for these and that's not where I want to be at

I'm looking for entry level Volt with heated seats I'd love to get my hands on the premier but I don't believe an extra $5k is worth it for everything on the car.

And yes I traded my 14 Volt in for a Challenger and I do regret it but when the new V2 came out for the Volt the prices were just AWFUL I couldn't afford it.. I pay right now $250 monthly fully loaded Challenger when I was looking for Volts-V2 they were entry level $270+plus a large down payment didn't make any sense of doing the lease.

Thank you kindly

Static websites are not the best - especially if you are a web forum.

Actually this video seems more appropriate

Or this time traveling fav

Or this one

And where this all started

Can’t forget hot tub time machine

And interstellar

Then there’s Kate & Leopoldo, FTW

And so my "ad nauseum jokes" that don't add value aren't seen as my only contribution, some philosophy:

Parmenides held that the multiplicity of existing things, their changing forms and motion, are but an appearance of a single eternal reality (“Being”), thus giving rise to the Parmenidean principle that “all is one.” From this concept of Being, he went on to say that all claims of change or of non-Being are illogical.

Eleaticism, one of the principal schools of ancient pre-Socratic philosophy, so called from its seat in the Greek colony of Elea (or Velia) in southern Italy. This school, which flourished in the 5th century BCE, was distinguished by its radical monism—i.e., its doctrine of the One, according to which all that exists (or is really true) is a static plenum of Being as such, and nothing exists that stands either in contrast or in contradiction to Being. Thus, all differentiation, motion, and change must be illusory. This monism is also reflected in its view that existence, thought, and expression coalesce into one.

It's not easy having the personality of a brick, but I did give it a go. :D

Anyway, you might enjoy this video:

Make sure you have the volume up.
Alas, this video is sci fi, not time travel. Get back to topic!!!

So, new game. Are these Firefly, Star Wars, Star Trek, or Battlestar Galactica
1. Two by two, hands of blue.
2. So say we all!!!
3. ...the ultimate power in the universe
4. You are the harbinger of death
5. I never met a female named Michael before...
6. Are you alive?
7. Black alert!!!
8. Stop holding my hand!
9. I've got man parts.

What if we just piled up all the new topics onto this single thread and Steverino went in and changed the title every now and then. We could have a 1000 post long thread and keep the site vibrant. I've decided to stop posting new topics, replying to other topics, and just hang out on this first reply-able thread since the Bro one is closed.
The topic was static being, or being static, which leads into other philosophies like monism (all things are one).

Taking a trip into C++land didn't work, and the Firefly video was an aside.
C++ is so nineties. Get with it.... Python, Go, R, Julia, Swift are all superior to C++ in many, many ways (with Swift as my current programming language of choice because it has a robust compiler and an incredible IDE). Soon, C++ programmers will be chuckled at just like Fortran programmers were.
What's wrong with dividing by zero? Don't let "old ways" hold you back. The way I do it, the quotient is always zero.
You end up with a NaN
I have people for that.
I personally know this guy

Who got a mention in the international ofuscated C coding contest
Sure, I always get that. What's an Indian dinner without nan? But making it may not be as easy as it seems.
Um no. NaN == not a number

You deserve a sudo rm -rf /*
There is no undo for sudo.

Naan bread you can put in the trash bin manually, and retrieve it if you're into that sort of thing. The 5 second rule applies.
I had Indian food once. Not my thing. Something about the entire table eating family style dipping their fingers into the gunk then licking them, then repeating really grossed me out. It didn’t help that the guy who introduced me to my first Indian meal was like Jabba the Hut, slobbering all over everything. He also became infamous in the office for hacking up an entire egg McMuffin that he tried to swallow in one bite, then headed home sick.

My kids love indian food though.
