Interesting problem; two days in a row, my VersiCharge faults at the mid point in recharging my 2013 Volt. Yesterday, I continued with the 110v charger and the car fully charged. Any thoughts in the community as to whether I need to replace my VersiCharge or if the true problem is with the Volt. The VersiCharge would only release the fault after roughly 12 hours of being unplugged. Thank you.

Try a public charging station. If that also faults, you know it's not the EVSE.

I had a similar issue: faulted on 240, not at 120. Turned out to be a relay going bad in the traction battery. two weeks for the relay (like a big fuse), drop the battery, replace the relay.

I had one of those. It has a 3 year warranty and had to have it replaced under warranty.

Charge with another EVSE. If the issue does not occur, Call Siemens. They have a good warranty program.

Thank you for your replies. I forgot to mention that the check engine light also was on. Anyway, took to my dealer and follow up is that one battery cell is bad. So a replacement is now on order. Will be covered by Chevrolet. Thank you Chevrolet for warranting battery 8y/100k!!! Apparently I needed it!
