Nope, the mirror is correct. Look at the back of the mirror, the part that faces the windshield. The part number is molded into the back. If the part number is upside down, the mirror is upside down. Also, there is another photocell that faces the windshield that allows it to detect day or night conditions. It should be free to "see" through the windshield--if it's upside down, all it "sees" is the back of the black box.
