I use USB for most of my music and like that the USB plug is hidden away in the center console.
The problem is that the USB plug is so high up and in the way that whenever I want to put something into the console I'm afraid of smacking it and possibly breaking the flashdrive.

I was using a USB extension cable to keep from snapping the drive, but that took up space and looked cluttered.
Then I found this little 16GB flashdrive for $10. Super tiny, inexpensive, holds all my music and then some, and I don't have to worry about breaking it while plugged in.

I have had that USB drive, the 16GB Sandisk Cruzer Fit, for quite a while, and I just used it to play music during a long trip last weekend. It is the perfect tool for the task. I also keep a bootable copy of Linux on it. It is very convenient for doing work on a computer that can boot from USB, and there are no worries about breaking it off in the USB port.
