Was wondering if there might be a USB dongle that would allow a bluetooth connection with my phone to use Android auto. It seems that the USB cable is very finicky, if I look at it the wrong was it disconnects. Besides that rather not have a cable over the console. My phone doesn't really fit in the bin.

I don’t know if there is one for Android Auto, but there is for CarPlay. I bought the CarlinkIt adapter and have been using it in my 2017 and it works like a charm. I haven’t had any of the delays or weirdness that I’ve read from others. Combined with a nice Qi wireless charging phone mount, it’s like nirvana!

I have not used this product.

That’s the one that I have and it works wonderfully for Apple CarPlay, but I haven’t seen anything similar for Android Auto...or even better...something that does both.
