In general I find there there is a lack of storage space near the driver and passenger in the Gen 2 Volt. I have owned a few cars in the past with either drawer or small bin under the driver's and passenger's seat. These were convenient for storing my work badge, wallet, keys .etc. Since there are no power seats with the associated motors taking up space, I would be nice the use some of this under seat space for storage.

Agreed, I'm interested to see what everyone else is going to say this and it would be nice to have one for my concealed handgun to put in small storage under the seat that some place doesn't allowed me to carry.

agreed. The lack of pockets and storage is annoying. I had a VW Golf MK6 before my Volt G2 and it didn't have a lot of storage cubbies, but it did have some places for coins, sunglasses etc.
A replacement door for the fuse panel that includes a flip down storage pocket would be great to see as an aftermarket option.
