Went to pull out of my garage tonight and earned a "shift to park" and the CEL was on. Symptoms include full charge (yet 1 mile showing on the GOM), "Not able to charge" on DIC, and the CEL light. No other abnormal indications.

I tried: Changing EVSE charger from my 220 to the 110 in the trunk (no change), also tried shifting to "Hold" mode and raising the hood to see if the engine would start (no change). All accessories work (radio/windows, etc.)

Onstar provided a P1E51 code which they stated had to do with the High Voltage system.

Does anyone have any info???

Thanks,
Adam

I'm unfamiliar with the codes. Hopefully, someone will jump in here...

Edit: I see that this is a double-post.

P1E51 is not a good code, are you sure that's what on-star told you?

Yes. I asked twice to verify. Car was flatbed to dealer today. Hopefully know something Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks

Thank you so much! The code is listed (P1E51)! How bad is it?

If you might click and open in new window, the screen shot will show up.

Well, verdict is in: P1E51 related to a low voltage in (my case) the third battery section.

A week to receive a new 3rd section. UGH!
