Well that was interesting. I'm glad I do most of the things recommended already. I remember my dad's 65 Mustang, and how you could smell the leaded gas in the back. Gave us kids the worst headaches. We're lucky to survive that period of no seatbelts, etc.

Sounds about right. I'm glad Tesla is pushing Bioweapon Defense Mode - hopefully it'll convince some of their competition to take in car air quality seriously too - though I don't think it can do anything about CO or NOx.

The activated carbon takes out anything that's chemically active, and the HEPA will screen particles of course.

The cabin air filter is also included in the Bolt EV, but I doubt it will do much for many of the pollutants in the air.

I know that when I had to drive 60-70 miles through slow, congested freeways, my lungs started hurting after a few months.
