Thought it might be interesting to share or compare my home weekday daily power usage profile. I have a L2 home charger, never use the L1 at home.

In the summer months at 8 PM lower price rates kick in - and my Volt always starts charging at 8 PM. Usually battery has 7 kWh remaining. Note each bar is 15 minute period, so an hourly rate is X4 a single bar.

Also L2 charging, but we have flat rate billing so I usually plug in right when I get home. The current PPL rate is about 0.13/kWh but I use a 3rd party supplier at 0.11/kWh. PPL's TOU plan is 'on hold' right now, but I don't think I would see much savings based on their historical rates. Regardless, I will soon be powered by 13kW of grid-tie solar!

I'm glad we have a flat rate plan, about 11 cents a kW. No complaints here in southern Illinois with that. I plug in every change I get and maintain a 100% SOC 24/7
