Two finger salute from a gen2 driver

I was driving across a bridge over an interstate, and a gen2 volt driver was coming down the offramp to stop at the stop sign. As I passed he gave me the two finger solute, in the shape of a V. I returned the gesture as well as pressed the pedestrian horn. Silver gen2 in Monticello, IL, first time I've seen one in that color in that town.

Beat's the "one finger" salute I got the other day from some asshole in a massive Dodge Ram coal roller who cut in front of me.

I got a 1-finger salute from a pickup the other day. Apparently he didn't like driving only 5 mph over the speed limit. None of the rare Volts I meet on the roads seem to wave at all.

Funny, when I was in elementary school, we were taught spelling, parts of speech, and grammar. I must have been out sick when physical gestures were discussed. I don't remember missing that many days of school. Perhaps these gestures were never covered!

How could schools graduate kids without the complete vocabulary required to live in our world?

If the back of their hand faces you, it's an insult.
And in NYC or NJ, it's an upward fist pump with the inside of your elbow hitting your left hand.

In some middle eastern countries, it's touching anyone anywhere with your right hand... because they don't use toilet paper. Handshakes are just not done.

Wrong hand.

Left hand wipe. Right hand eat.

I dated an Indian girl a longggg time ago.

I try to give the V salute whenever I can.

I wave.

At least it wasn't a one finger or three-finger read between the lines salute.

On my commute, I see three Volts. One I'm driving. One is on a used car lot. And one is sometimes parked in front of a business (and I think may belong to a regularly posting group member). We VOLT owners need to stick together...

I bump into many Volts going between Clarkston and Pontiac MI everyday.
Hopefully figuratively and not literally. ;)

My mistake, you're absolutely right. Years ago when giving a product demo, the marketing guy told me in advance just put my left hand in my pocket and only use my right hand to use operate the equipment.
