My 2017 volt has 23,500 miles on it. Only 700+ miles on the engine. The ECL came on with a P1AEE check code. Dealer says transmission needs to be replaced. Thankfully the Voltec warranty covered the repair. I will ask for an extension on my Voltec and GMPP warranties and go from there..
