I have a 2015 volt that I bought used 2 months ago. I have had the passenger front and driver rear TPMS sensors disappear. I replaced the sensors at the dealership (they are NOT voltec certified, the closest one is about an 8 hour drive). Problem still came back. They read the codes and it came in as "too few pulses"
Unfortunately couldn't replicate the issue, so they rotated the tires. Today the front passenger (formerly rear passenger) and rear driver (formerly front passenger) both disappeared while driving. The dealership is at a bit of a loss, and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what was done to fix it.

A couple of thoughts:
1) Logically, something about those 2 positions is bad, and it is not the sensors. I think there is only one receiver (not sure where it is located), so a receiver problem seems unlikely. Could something be blocking or interfering with the signals from those bad corners? Do you have aftermarket electronics or some physical thing in the car that could block those signals?
3) Are you sure the dealership actually did the work? If they never replaced anything or rotated anything, your symptoms would not be puzzling.

I have had this problem intermittently for a while over the year I have owned mine. I started taking a picture of the display when it happens to show the service department after having one replaced. After about the 5th time taking a picture it dawned on me when it was taking place. Every Time is when I was going at a high rate of speed like over 70. It has now done it at least 10 times and every single time is above this speed. There is no doubt speed is causing the issue. In addition it changes as to which one drops out also so not a defective sensor per se. I am not sure if there is one collection point for all 4 that may lose the signal. I have simply chalked it up to a known defect with no corrective action available.

Below is a thread that (near the end) discusses interference of the TPMS signal from two tires that was caused by a dashcam installation near the rear view mirror.

That's my thread... yes, I had TPMS interference from a noisy dashcam, but I also have experienced it from a noisy aux-to-USB power adapter in the top dash cubby. Since switching dashcams and no longer using the top cubby, I have had no further issues. If you didn't know, the TPMS receiver is in the black box next to the rearview mirror, so anything electronic near it could potentially cause an issue. I'd unplug any aftermarket stuff you have and see if the issue persists.

I do have dashcams in my car. They were pulled out of the truck that I traded in for the car. They are BlackVue DR550 2ch and it is using the power magic tapped into the passenger side fuse box. They are set to turn off after 6hours. I have the wireless turned off and will only turn on when I need to view the video footage. I use a similar camera (DR500) in my work truck. The cameras caused no problems for about a month after install. I guess it is POSSIBLE that the cameras could cause interference but I would have expected it immediately after installation of the cameras, not a month later.

Also should mention that the front facing camera is on the passenger side of the windshield, right next to the A pillar. The rear camera is on the hatch in the small window.
One of those locations is relatively close to the problematic right front tire, and the other location is near the rear tires, one of which is a problem. It could match up.

I removed the power from the camera, and my problem has not returned. In addition the key fobs can now remain in my pocket when I approach the car, they don't have to be pulled out for it to unlock. So now the question is what GOOD quality cameras are out there that won't affect the car negatively. I do like the blackvue cameras that I have, but don't like the interference. I specifically would like a 2channel, one in the front and one in the back. I would experiment on my own but funds are a little tight.

I'm not too familiar with these systems, but maybe you can use the same camera system, but somehow either shield the interference or eliminate it some other way (use a different type of wiring, for instance).

You probably don't need to replace the cameras, but only the power supply for them. Try a different (decent quality) power supply before spending for new cameras.
