Can I tow my pop up camper with my Volt with a hitch like this??

About the only thing that hitch is good for is parking lot maneuvering. That little caster wheel will get destroyed almost immediately at normal road speed.

Maybe one of the hitches hidden behind the license plate? They seem to have a higher tow rating for the Volt than the hitches underneath.

I just installed a Torklift on my i3 and it is way better made than some of the others I have used, thicker steel and mounts over rear crash bar in an incredibly sturdy fashion. The video for the Volt isn't working for me but looks similar. More work to install though as I had to remove bumper cover.

*grin* That's an extender for shallow boat ramps, where someone has to get much further out before a boat will float off a trailer. Not meant for actual travelling.

Maybe around a parking lot. That caster will not survive highway speeds.

Hey Scott, how hard was it to remove the bumper trim/panel to install? I'm tempted to get this for my Gen 1 Volt for a bike rack, but I'm hesitant to remove the panel and much something up.

They need a bigger caster wheel. That trailer is still sitting tongue low.

Towing in general with the Volt is at your own risk. Chevy recommends against any towing.
