No offense to everyone, I don't care where the build them! (somewhere in USA) I just hope they DO build them. Can't wait I own a Prius, would have rather bought US but GM/Ford didn't follow through. Let's hope they learned a lesson.

I saw they said the asking price would be under $30,000. They better make a whole lot of 'em if it's that cheep. I'll take two because I can

Luck you. You would get a dealer discount. You sure would get somewhere closer to 30,000. I really hope it somewhere in the 35,000 for consumers.

You need to contact everyone you can at GM to scrap the "limited availability area" for the initial rollout!

They have 30 months to get the nationwide dealer network ready for this new vehicle. There is no good reason to sell the first year's production to CA, FL, Washington, DC, and maybe NY.

If you can get is an e-mail address for Waggoner, Lutz, Webber, and the entire Board Of Directors at GM, I would wager that they would each get about 10,000 e-mails from members here asking for the same thing!!!!
