If this pace continues, over 100,000 plug-in vehicles will be sold in 2013, even though it was only in May of this year that the total number of plug-in vehicles sold in the U.S. reached 100,000...This overall picture shows that sales are drastically picking up pace

That graph is hard to read. The colors can be confusing for many with not-so-perfect eyesight, especially some that may have slight Daltonism (color blindness), like my wife. She cannot detect the differences between some of the dark colors and true black.

It should be divided into two graphs, imports and domestics, then the bars can be wider and easier to read. Using a pie graph is also easier to read and understand, although it will take up more visual space. Add the numeric table with the numbers per vehicle is a better idea, because most technical information is based on numbers, not just color bars.

After Jeff Bezos' acquisition of the Washington Post I think Elon Musk may be wise to consider snatching the NYT and then wiping it off the face of this Earth. It may be a good investment and that rag would not be missed.
