Ah thanks, youre right. It seems like black / tan is just a very rare color combination. I only see 2 listed on autotrader in the whole country, and both are 2014s. I'm hoping for a 2015. I'm picky so I'll wait til one comes up nearby for sale.
Tan leather?
First time poster. MAN the registration process for this site is a pain. And the password requirements are just silly. It's just a car, not nuclear launch codes.
But I digress.
I was hoping to get a Tesla Model 3, but my mom is going through some financial hardship so I'll need to help her out, so I can't justify spending that much money on a car at the present time. But I'm sick of giving any money to the sociopathic greedbags in the fossil fuel industry, so my next car MUST be at least a plug in hybrid, and I really like the look of the Gen1 Volt. (Gen2 looks way more like a boring family or rental car to me).
I really think it looks good in black, but I've only see black leather interiors. Did they ever make tan leather interiors? I used to have a Black/black acura integra and the leather just gets too hot in the summer.

For me, it's mostly about heat. A black/black car gets so hot in warm climates like mine.Of the two Volt's I test drove, one had Beige + Cloth. I personally didn't really care for it. The Volt is supposed to be more of a futuristic car and beige does not give the impressions of futuristic.

Also in a tight interior like the volt, I think light colors tend to make it feel a little larger and less cramped.
That's good to hear. Yes I am hoping more become available. I can afford to be patient with this purchase so I'm going to wait to find exactly what I'm looking for - Black with beige leather and bose stereo.Black exterior with pebble Beige interior is out there. Saw at least 2 last week when i was buying my Volt. You just have to keep looking. As for finding a '15, unless it's a repo they are going to be few and far between. Right now the early 14s are coming off lease so they're plentiful. This time next year you're going to have your pick of 15s if you can wait that long.
What about black exterior with tan leather seats and black steering wheel/dashboard? I think I saw that combo in an article about the volt, but haven't seen any on autotrader. Does anyone know if that combo exists, or do they make the whole interior tan when you order tan leather seats?
