Did Pep Boys offer to "correct" the situation? I'd love to see that!

Is there tail lights in the hatch of a 2012?
I failed an inspection the other day cause "they" said the tail lights on hatch were out. All others are fine.
Or, is it just ignorance on the part of Pep Boys?
