I took the snow tires off this week and the weather is in the 60s. My range is up spectacularly, I averaged 158 MPGe over 50 miles today. Someone reported that there guess-o-meter was showing 80 and I expressed my doubts, but today I was getting that type of range. During the winter my battery range was less than 50. I love the summer.

Funny, my snow tires were only on the car for a week and a half. Then spring arrived in late Jan/early Feb in IL. You folks in MA are just gluttons for punishment. I predict that you will have milder winters from here out out as my daughter's new Subaru arrived in Boston coincidentally during snowageddons 1 and 2. Watch out Atlanta, she's moving to Georgia in July, you're doomed this winter. You heard it here first.

Yup, here's my guess-o-meter today
I'm assuming that you never drive on highways. You inspired me so yesterday I flipped Google Maps to avoid highways to see if your range is really possible, it is if you stay on back roads. In the long run driving like that isn't practical but with the summer tires back on averaging 60 miles of range is reasonable.
