Recently I was contacted by Nielsen, the ratings firm, as to possibly participating. I wasn't able to, but it got me to thinking - would it be difficult for the vehicle to keep track of which radio stations I listen to? If I opt in to a ratings program, could this information be sent in to GM? Might GM want to monetize this and make it available to ratings or similar organizations? Perhaps they already do this, or have reasons developed why they do not.
