I would like to see GM consider something else as a Range Extender.
Something that is zero emission and could easily be integrated within the existing gas station network. And Safe.
What if you consider using compressed air to drive an Air Motor?

That motor can easily drive a small low resistance turbine to recharge the battery at will.
And gas station just need a compressor and big air tank to quickly refill a car.
It fits in GM approach of using any type of motor as a RE and it worth to be looked into.
