Good to see Subaru joining the EV world. The front-wheel drive Solterra has a cruising range of 530 km (329 miles), while the all-wheel drive version can drive 460 km (285 miles) on a single charge, Subaru said in a press release.

Looks better than the Toyota version IMO ... too big for me still when it comes time to replace the Volt but besides the Bolt (I assume), there'll be plenty of options at that time.

Based on range listed, it looks like they're aiming for about 90kwh. AWD range is smaller, so either they have different batteries for space reasons or AWD far less efficient than I thought it was.

I'm happy to see Subaru moving in this direction. I remember the early Subaru commercials that touted their environmentally friendly vehicles. Now Subaru's are among the lowest MPG vehicles on the road.

The front grille looks like a Mustang Mach E and the rear quarter panel looks like a Toyota Rav 4.
So which part makes it a Subaru, the badge?
