I bought a certified used 2013 Volt from a Chevy dealer. From the beginning I noticed a pretty significant squeak if I apply the brakes firmly at low speeds. It doesn't seem like its in the braking mechanism to me it seems like more of a result of the result of applying the brakes (the sudden momentum shift of the car). It sounds to me like it could be suspension related. Any ideas what it is?

@30k miles ago replacing the stock brake hardware and relube made all the difference in eliminating the intermittent squeak from my Gen1 brakes.

These aftermarket brake parts have somethin' called 'quiteglide' and nearly broke the bank at @$20 for all 4 brakes!
