I call troll!!! LOLSo, how many $20,000 batteries has he gone through so far?![]()
I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.Oh, I thought that those batteries were $70,000 and had to be replaced annually. Yes, I hope that this 400,000-miler does get broad coverage in the "fake news" network.
He drove almost 5,000 miles in August...so doesn't look like he's slowed down much at all. Maybe "closer" means only a 150 mile R/T commute instead of 200. LolErick announced on the same video - see commentaries - he changed jobs and he's a lot closer to home now. I don't think he'll get to 400 000 miles millage soon.
Will make it next week, even with Labor Day.Here is a youtube made by Erick Belmer. The sound is low on my system but I think that he said he has replaced wheel bearings a few times due to potholes and debris. Working for GM has perks: he pays for labor, they pay for parts.

EDIT: 399302.6 miles on Voltstats.net (2012-07353)
That video was 15 months ago, and he's added at least 200 miles since Wednesday. "A lot closer" is pretty relative.Erick announced on the same video - see commentaries - he changed jobs and he's a lot closer to home now. I don't think he'll get to 400 000 miles millage soon.
The loss is because of the tires he put on the Volt. He said in one commentary to the video he still gets his 38 miles per charge.IIRC, he said he lost just a few miles.
