Siri is not responding to punctuation commands on CarPlay. i.e. When I use my iPhone outside of the car, if I say "period", Siri puts a period at the end of a sentence. When in my 2019 Chevy Volt, and connected using CarPlay, if I say "period", Siri spells the word period and I am not able to use proper punctuation. So too with "question mark" and other punctuations. It is only when I am in my car that this happens. Dictated punctuation works fine everywhere else in the iPhone/Siri ecosystem. Any advice? Is CarPlay broken?

Very odd. I works for me. It sounds like one of this iOS settings that you will spend half a lifetime finding. If you haven't, I'd try rebooting the phone. I had an issue in my Bolt where CP wouldn't display any apps that where't Apple supplied. Rebooting the phone fixed it. (The next thing I was going to do was disconnect the battery to reboot the infotainment system, which might work for you too).
