We all know that Remote Link and myChevrolet are the same, starting with version 3.9.0. Once I received these updates on my iPhone, the Navigation Send to Vehicle tab changed to Press to Upgrade. I made several calls to OnStar and was told repeatedly that it was not availble to the Basic Plan. I explained that the upgrade changed my ability and, each time, they said I never should have had it.

During the fourth call, I read this URL aloud to the rep: https://www.onstar.com/us/en/help-support/basic-plan/services-included.html. This OnStar help page explicitly says Basic Plan can send an address to the in-dash Nav. I was then offered two months of complimentary NAV ability and a promise that I would receive a call from OnStar with 3-5 days (which didn't happen).

Is there anyone out there on the Basic Plan that still has send to dash NAV?

My guess is they will change the website to no longer reflect this option...:(...because they want to make more money off users...

They've definitely been fiddling with the app features lately. A couple weeks ago I was able to check charge function, range, etc. but now I also get the "press to upgrade" button on everything except the remote fob. I too lost the option to send destinations from the app since then. I'm all for OnStar having their own ability to pick and choose what features are available with their various packages as they are a business that has that ability to choose pricing and options. That said however I have no intention of paying their inflated prices for such limited functionality. If they were to cut their prices by 50% across the board for each package, perhaps it would be more appealing but paying $30/month just to have the ability to send a destination from my phone to my car is obscene. Sure the added features otherwise such as vehicle tracking are nice I just can't justify spending hundreds of dollars annually for such a minor function.

Just checked, and I too only have the fob options.
A week or so ago it definitely gave me the range/charge status. Now "upgrade now".

Myvolt data appears to have last charging entry on Nov 11th - that's likely when they made the switch (or it broke)
Looks like the TOU wizard is also greyed out on the myvolt page... they're definitely chopping back what's available.

I’m on iOS and RemoteLink 3.9 and have no problem sending turn by turn to vehicle. Although I’m not in my volt to fully confirm but it sent successfully.

Do you have the free basic plan or are you still in a subscription either from purchase, special offer, etc.? It seems the free features are becoming fewer and fewer as onstar does some upgrades.

sending waypoints to nav has not been part of the lower cost option for some time but Vehicle Status was and still it there.

BUT over the last few week as they must have been doing the change over I did have 5 days where I too saw the upgrade now and was not able to do some options .

Things are back now with no action taken on my part

Just checked and mine still shows "upgrade now" for vehicle status. Aside from a week or so of availability that it indicated that since my 3 free months expired last December. Usually I have to sign into myvolt to get charging status but recently it's been giving me an error that it's unable to update charging information.

It's not yet clear, but it seems that to send an address to NAV via a cell phone, you must have one of the three paid plans or you must pay for the navigation option while on the Basic Plan. The navigation option is $12 a month or $120 per year, but that includes the ability to call an OnStar rep from the car and have the rep send the address to the NAV.

All I want is to avoid stopping the car and using the clumsy in-dash entry screens. I don't need to bother an expensive human. There is no paid option to keep the cell phone entry only. C'mon OnStar.
