Saw cool wheel covers on a Prius, anyone know where to get this? It might be custom in which case I'm out of luck, but I would love something like this for my 2016 Volt!

Well they sure as heck are not for lookswell, that's, uh... different. I definitely would have noticed those. Must be for efficiency.
Life is too short to drive an ugly car.Saw cool wheel covers on a Prius, anyone know where to get this? It might be custom in which case I'm out of luck, but I would love something like this for my 2016 Volt!
What did you replace the OEMs with? Any pictures? The Prius is already fugly enough...why make it fuglier with those wheels. It might help your range at high speeds, but then again making your wheels slightly heavier is also detrimental to range.
I replaced my 17" OEMs with 18" wheels that look much cooler, and added a deeper tread tire for better grip. I took a range hit because of the extra weight per wheel.
Look at the last two pics in this postWhat did you replace the OEMs with? Any pictures?
Next thing you know, someone will try to mount carbon fiber racing bike wheels to their volts.Wow, someone discovered moon wheels and made them dull and terrible. I wonder if I can get low-rolling-resistance whitewalls....
The car or the wheels? LolWell they sure as heck are not for looks![]()
Looks homemade. They took a Toyota wheel cover and used faux carbon fiber vinyl wrap or something and wrapped the wheel covers, that's why you see a shadow of the actual wheel cover thru the material, and left a small triangular cutout for brake cooling. It's obviously meant to be aero, some hypermiler trying to max out.Saw cool wheel covers on a Prius, anyone know where to get this? See, that's actually kind of nice looking....I think a straight up aluminum disk wheel cover would look much better on a Prius. Maybe on a Volt, too. Maybe on a Silver Volt.
