A few month back I bought a “totaled” 2013 Volt. None of the airbags went off. The damage was only to the lower front right side. The biggest issue with this spot is that is where the ECM is. It has no apparent damage but there is some corrosion on the x3 port. The x1 and x3 harness connectors were damaged so I replaced them. I now have the following codes.
P1E00 – DTC definition not found
P2091 - CamPos B actuator Bank 1 circuit High
P0013 - CamPos B actuator Bank 1 circuit malfunction
P0629 - fuel pump A cont circuit high
P2400 – evap system leak detect pump circuit open/short
P025A – fuel pump module control cicuit/open
P0627 - fuel pump A cont circuit open
P069E – fuel pump module reg malfunction indicator lamp ill
I have continuity on all the wires from the ECM to both the cam actuators and position sensors. I also have continuity from the ECM to the fuel pump control module. The Manual Service Disconnect (MDS ) is in place and reads less than 5 ohms. And the wires at the back left of the trunk are in tack. All fuses are ok.
The Drive battery showing completely drained and will not charge. The indicator on the dash lights up yellow and the display says cannot charge. The 12V battery is fine.
I’m guessing my ECM is bad. I confess I have not tried to drive it. So, I can’t say for sure the gas motor won’t start. Any suggestions before I take it to the dealer for a reflash or new ECM? Will a Volt ECM still have to be reflashed?
Thanks
