Hi gang,
New to the forum, and my first post here!
Put down a deposit today on a blue premium. Been looking forward to this for a long time!
BUT, when we got to the dealership the salesman told us that there was a new recall that had just been issued, and he had no idea when our car would be available to take home. He said, basically, if a vehicle is under recall, it can't leave the lot.
And here's the puzzling thing: GM has a web site (https://my.chevrolet.com/recalls) where you can put in a VIN and see current recalls. I put in the VIN, and got no results. The site lists today as last update.
Soooooo, has anyone heard of a recall? The salesman said it had something to do with the wheels.

Thanks,

Khunshawn

I've seen GM's recall page take a couple of weeks after the NHTSA announces a recall. Once a recall is declared it can take time to determine which VINs are covered by the recall.

I received a letter in the mail yesterday from GM talking about reprogramming the hybrid powertrain control module 2. It regards the motor running at a consistently higher power than normal to propel the vehicle, and acceleration is slower than expected.
