Rear door/window clicking

Lately I have been hearing a clicking noise; almost like the sound of the power window motor makes when attempting to roll an already shut window close- a small click- when going over bumps or taking off from a stop.

Anyone else have this issue? I know in a car that sounds can bounce around and be difficult to pinpoint but just wondered if anyone else experienced this before I went to the dealer and have them look at this.

thanks

Ours makes the same noise. I tried the reset like stated above, didn't work for us. Very frustrating since it's completely random.
Just buckling the seat belt made no difference. The noise was still there. I had to pull hard on the belt after the reel locked up. It stops rattling for about 2-3 days.
The clicking happens while stopped and in park as well. Definitely not the seat belt in my case.
So we have had this issue since the first week or so of ownership. It is a random clicking sound, like a window trying to roll up after it's up already. I spoke with my father who is an engineer at GM, he checked around the people he knows up there and couldn't find anything on the issue. He referred me to the executive customer service reps who set up a dealer visit. Took it in, demonstrated the noise to the dealer and was told, no way to fix it at this time. I have included our invoice with the TAC number. If you are experiencing this issue, take it in to the dealer and give them the TAC number. Since this isn't throwing a code, GM will not give them authorization to investigate. This was told to me from the customer service rep from GM and the dealer. I was told I had to wait until, more cases are reported, it can be reproduced on demand or it outright fails. The more people we get involved and reporting the sooner we can get a field engineer out to actually troubleshoot the issue since the techs at the dealer are not authorized.
For those without picture access the TAC code is 8-2888465379.

My dealer, Ted Britt Chevy in Sterling, VA, fixed the issue I was having, but I'm not sure it's the same as that reported by others in this thread. For me, the driver's door panel was a little loose, right where you'd rest your arm out the window. I demonstrated to them that it had more play than the other side, and that it made obnoxious clicking noises. Their tech reproduced, and they ordered a replacement panel under warranty! Sound is now gone.
Snorth funny story we go to ted britt in sterling as well. They told me they never had anyone complain about clicking before, I'll chalk that up to volume, maybe.

Either way update from GM executive customer service, per the dealer driving two other 17 volts and hearing clicking from those, they "GM" has deemed this behavior "operating characteristic of this year and model" aka tough luck. Funny our last one never clicked, ive never owned a car that randomly clicks as you drive. At this point if you have this issue, please report it to your dealer as this is a cop out for them to figure out what part is causing the issue. It seems more and more car companies due this until something breaks and they have no choice to fix it.
