Today, I was walking toward my 2013 volt and noticed the passenger rear door was not fully closed. I thought that it was odd because nothing was shown on the DIC. I opened the door and then noticed the striker part on the body was loose. I could easily move it about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch. When the door was closed, the weather strip pushed out the door enough to make it look like it wasn't fully latched.

I used an Allen key to tighten and all is good again. I have no idea how long it has been like that though.

The rest were nice and tight so it was just the one. No air leakage was observed and no water in the car so the seals definitely do their job.

Odd, must not have been fully torqued to begin with and slowly loosened over time with use and road vibration.

I figured the same. It is well torqued now!

Sometimes the passenger side of the car is like the dark side of the moon, you have to go out of your way to see it. I have to remind myself to do a walk around every once in a while.
Funny that the wife or daughter didn't notice ;)
